Oak Grove Subdivision
Oak Grove is a community consisting of 81 single family homes within the village limits of Wauconda. Easily accessible from major transportation routes located just off of U.S. Rt. 59 and Ivanhoe Rd. Private and exclusive enough to please the most discriminating homebuyer, yet unpretentious.
Wauconda takes it's name from an Indian Chief of the Winnebago tribe. Legend says that Chief Wauconda is buried somewhere on the southern bank of Bangs Lake. Translated, Bangs Lake means "Spirit Water". Wauconda was organized in 1849.
